Atmavikasa Centre Of Yogic Sciences is a
research institute of Yoga, Philosophy and Indian culture. It was established
by Yogacharya V. Venkatesha and his wife Acharye Hema, with an intention to
introduce the many facets of Yoga to the sincere seekers of all levels. At Atmavikasa, we believe that, the
knowledge should arise by experience and hence, our motto is to offer all the
differentiated Yogic resources in order to make the student experience the
integrated Truth. Here, apart from Yoga Asanas, a strong emphasis is laid on
other yogic sciences as Pranayama, Meditation, Kriyas, Sanskrit, chanting and
Philosophy. The System
and the Course are carefully designed so that, they provide maximum
possible information and hence maximize the experience of the student; and
allow him/her to integrate his experience with the Logic of modern science
and also the References available in the form of scriptures. We hope that our sincere attempt
and effort to make students envision Yoga as a mode of righteous living and
not as a mere form of Physical practice succeeds at ATMA VIKASA. | New Visa
Regulations: Ministry
of external affairs has now made Y visa [yoga visa] mandatory to all foreign nationals
interested in studying yoga in India. The rules are very strict and the local
Police authorities are implementing it very seriously. Kindly oblige and
apply for a yoga visa [not just a tourist visa] when you plan a yoga trip to
India. You will need a letter of admission from a reputed Yoga organization
to obtain a visa. Please write to atmavikasa@gmail.com to know the admission
rules at Atmavikasa. |
